My Jagoe Home

May 21, 2018

What’s your first impression of the interior of this home? Clean & Sleek definitely comes to mind! We are putting the finishing touches on this 3-story beauty! The cathedral ceiling will wow just about everyone, especially your guests. This kitchen is stunning – floating shelves, white subway tile backsplash and glass cabinets with under cabinet lighting that will make any crystal sparkle. The hexagonal tile in the owner’s bath is a fun way to not get too crazy. We cannot wait to show you the rest of this home 🤩

Are you seeing what we’re seeing? That is a very-very-close-to-being-finished exterior! The siding and the brick were just completed. What you can’t see going on the inside – installing carpet, finishing the interior paint, installing the beautiful hood over the stove… we will post more photos of the interior soon! Landscaping should be going in the next couple of weeks as well. For now, marvel at this curb appeal!

Wooooooooow! You can really get some “sneak peeks” of these custom details now! We don’t want to give too much away.. but we just have to share this amazing progress! The custom two tone kitchen includes a walk-in pantry, beverage center and glass cabinetry. The living room will display a beautiful tile linear fireplace to ceiling. The dining room is adorned with windows on every wall and cathedral ceiling with beam detail. The water room in the owner’s bath features built-in shelving, and the shower is finished with 4” x 16” offset white subway tile – simple and clean! The painters have been busy as you can see. The downstairs entertainers basement looks to be off to a good start with statement-making custom navy cabinets. We can’t wait to show you more soon!

We have real walls! Our Homerama home is now fully insulated and had its first inspection for Energy Efficiency this week. The interior drywall has been completely installed over the insulation. Next, we will have the interior concrete work completed and interior painting will begin!

We are falling in love with this custom home! All of the exterior windows and doors are now installed, and the roof was being shingled today. Plumbing, electrical and HVAC will soon be installed as well. Now, let’s talk about these awesome photos: we entered in through the garage, then walked around the first story, went upstairs to the second story, and finished our short tour in the basement. The garage has an off-set third bay in addition to the expansive two-car, side-entry garage. You can see that the kitchen island has been installed; beautiful cabinets will eventually line the wall behind it. The cathedral ceiling finds its home in the dining room, giving the home owner and guests a gorgeous view of the back wooded area. French doors give entry into the home, and a large study is located to their right. Heading into the Owner’s Suite, you can see that we’ve put in a built-in to go in the water room, and one in the large shower to create a seat. Upstairs, the bonus room area models an angled ceiling with that same gorgeous view. Two additional bedrooms and another full bath complete the second floor (not pictured). Downstairs in the basement, you can see where the bar will be installed! This basement is huge! Normally, you would expect a basement to be very dark, but we made sure to include as much natural light as possible. As you can see, it almost looks like we are on the first story! Going out onto the large, outdoor patio, don’t be alarmed by the doors that are leading out from the upstairs dining room that seem to go nowhere – there will be a deck installed outside of the sliding glass doors. Seriously, we can’t get enough of this view! Next we will see how we insulate our Energy Smart homes…

This Jagoe home is being carefully framed by the Amish. The quality of the work they do is unbelievable – you wouldn’t believe it only took them three days! We will check back in once they have the entire home framed.

We are excited to announce that we will be participating in Homerama 2018, presented by the Builder Industy Association of Louisville in Kentucky! This two-week tour for all ages is held in mid-July and showcases custom built new homes at a single site that are fully-furnished, decorated, landscaped and feature the latest in Builder trends, technology and interior design.
