Jagoe Earns Readers Choice Platinum Award

Evansville, Ind. – Jagoe Homes has earned a Platinum Award for Best New Home Builder in the annual Courier & Press Readers Choice Awards.

This year, readers submitted more than 70,000 votes which were spread across 119 categories that included best new home builder, best local restaurant, best TV personality and best band, among others.

“For many years we’ve been raising the bar on the quality of our construction and materials and on lean building practices that allow us to build homes that have greater value on the dollar,” Jagoe co-owner Scott Jagoe notes. “It’s very satisfying when the results of your efforts really begin to peak.”

Jagoe Homes Receives Builder of the Year / EPA Leadership Award

In 2010, Jagoe Homes was named National Builder of the Year by Professional Builder magazine, earning the distinction over 119,000 homebuilders nationwide.

For three consecutive years, Jagoe also was awarded the Energy Star Leadership in Housing Award from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its contributions to home construction that help reduce energy usage and the emission of greenhouse gases. New Jagoe homes are up to 60 percent more energy efficient than existing homes.

In addition, Jagoe was honored with the Builder Partnerships Achievement Award at the International Builders Show in Orlando in 2011 by earning higher than a 93 percent score in customer “willing to refer” rates.

Since its founding in 1939, Jagoe has built more than 6,000 homes in the Owensboro, Henderson, Louisville and Bowling Green, Ky. areas and in Evansville and Newburgh, IN. The third-generation, Owensboro-based builder is co-owned by brothers Scott and Bill Jagoe.
