Building a Reputation: Jagoe Homes Recognized for Decades of Sheltering Tri-State Families

TRI-STATE REGION — The Jagoe family of Owensboro, Ky., has built thousands of single-family homes in Western Kentucky and Southern Indiana in the past 53 years, since William R. Jagoe III founded Jagoe Homes Construction Co. in 1958.

In the past 26 years, alone, Jagoe’s sons, Scott and Bill, have led the construction of around 4,500 homes across the Tri-State and in places like Louisville and Bowling Green, Ky.

But, as early as the 1930s the Jagoe name already was associated with homebuilding. Then, Scott and Bill Jagoe’s grandfather, Carlos Jagoe, built homes and owned and operated Daviess County Planing Mill.
