Homeowners who are seeking to downsize often require additional space to accommodate guests or family members for an extended duration, thereby necessitating a greater degree of privacy. During the initial stages of development, our Vice President of Architectural Design identified an extra area that could be added above the Georgia Craftsman plan. After receiving feedback from potential buyers and real estate professionals, we proceeded to develop the additional space and offer it as an available floor plan.
The Georgia with Bonus Room adds around eight hundred square feet of additional living space, which can be used for various purposes, such as a home theater, gym, or crafting area. However, the majority have indicated that they would use it when hosting guests. To cater to this demand, we now offer an option to modify the former flex space to create an additional bedroom and full bath!
The addition of stairs leading up to the bonus room has transformed the flex space into a home office, providing two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a home office all on the main floor. Homeowners have everything they need on the first floor with plenty of extra space upstairs.
The Georgia Craftsman with Bonus Room is currently the only plan that is offered with a Bonus Space upstairs, so it sets itself apart from the other plans! This comes hand-in-hand with the Georgia’s stellar included features, such as the open layout, abundance of storage, and the private owner’s suite.
